Curamik Electronics is the market and technology leader in Direct Bonded Copper products (DBC), such as ceramic printed circuit boards for power electronics and cooling systems for high-performance applications. Since the foundation in 1983, Curamik developed dynamically, and focused on providing solutions for an efficient use of energy by the high-performance electrical power management and the highly efficient thermal management assured by DBC products. Today DBC products are largely used in industrial applications, in the automotive sector (electric & hybrid vehicles) and in renewable energy systems such as wind power parks, photovoltaic power plants or concentrated photovoltaics (CPV). After the recent acquisition in January 2011, today Curamik is part of the Rogers Corporation group.
